John will donate the proceeds from the sales
of the book to the following charities:

The Stephen Center in Omaha, Nebraska opened in 1984 and is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Center provides over 18,000 nights of shelter to homeless and serves an astonishing 70,000+ meals to the hungry each year. Now, with the opening of the John L. Hoich Center for Recovery, the only licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Nebraska, the Center provides counseling and rehabilitation to those wishing to become free from dependency.

The Lakeside Hospital Foundation, part of the Alegent Health System, supports this Southwest Omaha hospital and its expansion to meet the growing needs of this area of the city. As part of the Alegent Health System, Lakeside Hospital Foundation seeks innovative solutions to complex health needs, provides programs and services for the well-being of the community, and makes state-of-the-art technology available to its patients.

The Westside Community Schools Foundation: The John L. Hoich Scholarship Fund provides deserving students the opportunity for an excellent education through scholarships. The Westside Community Schools Foundation supports programs for which tax funds are not available; offers improved educational opportunities for teachers, students and employees; and recognizes excellence through student scholarships and teacher awards.

Rotary International Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Rotary International, a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders dedicated to humanitarian service, high ethical standards in all vocations and builds goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians in more than 32,000 clubs, in over 200 countries and geographical areas volunteer help in their communities through a variety of programs and services such as youth literacy and scholarships for deserving youth.
